Ashrai is working to provide health services to the Adibasi (Tribal) community and the very poor people of the Barind tracks, in the northwest of Bangladesh. Ashrai started this program in 2022, with the assistance of Aghore in Niamotpur thana and gradually will be expanded to other areas. Ashrai implements this program through Medical Officers (MBBS) ,Paramedics and health agents. Medical Officer works as a Volunteer and Paramedics are paid employees and the health agents are elected from amongst the group members.
At present Health Program of Ashrai provide healthcare service to 1,148 patients.
