Child Education

Ashrai has been emphasizing on child’s quality education to educate and integrate the Adibashi future generations with inspiration to mainstreaming in the society. The education projects working for making the children school oriented from the ideal age, and protect dropouts from school and simultaneously inspired the children to be higher educated. Especially, to achieve the purposes teachers were teaching at Pre-primary education and NFPE classes from same ethnicity and mother tongue literacy (Orao languages) with national curriculum as additional efforts.

At present, REALISE project is being implemented in Kahrol and Birol Dinajpur district and ENSURE project in Patnitala and Neyamotpur Upazilas of Naogaon district for improving quality education congenial facilities for the children of Adibashi and marginalized families. Two projects are providing developmental services to 60 `B’ or `C’ graded govt. Primary schools for infrastructural and environmental improvement and improving the quality of the classroom teaching quality. The projects have established 80 formal and 60 non-formal (NFPE) primary schools in Naogaon and Dinajpur districts for children from Adibashi and poor families who have not easy access to govt. schools due to physical distance of schools nearby.
